This example was titled "Hidden Cove" by Spender and shows a costal scene with a stepped hillside leading down to the sea, possibly near Worth Matravers in Dorset..

Signed and dated 1963; inscribed in pencil on backboard "Hidden Cove" anx "White & Cream" (instructions to fame); also Humphrey Spender RIBA, FSIA label with address at The Old Vicarage, Ulting, Maldon, Essex and Telephone: Hatfield Peverel 323; also label of The Thames Gallery.
