This view of an unidentified harbour scene in oils on a wooden board bears strong affinities with Lamb's work of the 1920s. The handling of the earth colours and gritty subject matter echoes Lamb's studies made on the streets and quayside in Poole. Like some of those it is unsigned and is listed here as circle of Lamb, rather than an autograph work.
